Residential CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
Tim brings a unique level of creativity to his work and what further differentiates him is his passion. It seems to me Tim is not doing it to make a living, he’s intrinsically motivated to create something beautiful and spectacular every time he grabs a pencil.
- Jeff Yabuki, Fox Point, WI, Residential Landscape Design
Tim developed a plan that met all the client’s desires and exceeded their expectations. He’s a pleasure to work with, very talented, and always focuses on the finished product and the customer’s happiness. One of his big strengths is integrating the design of all the exterior elements with the architecture of the home. Plus, he provides one-stop-shopping for the customer. He designs the landscaping and then administers the whole process to ensure the vision is realized.

Living in the Rocky Mountains, we’re drawn to aspens, evergreens and things that look mountainesque, natural, even unkempt. We weren’t looking for an English garden and a yard that was tailored and symmetrical. We had a few pictures of designs we liked. But I barely knew the difference between certain trees and perennials and annuals. We left all those decisions to Tim, although we did take some advice from local nurseries, too. I wanted the outside of our home to be as beautiful as the inside. We were looking forward to spending time outside, in our backyard and front yard. In the backyard, he designed our fire feature, putting green, pitching mound, pool and hot tub area, outside lighting and irrigation. Building our swimming pool and hot tub was our biggest challenge. We wanted privacy and a covered structure, but we didn’t want it to be cost prohibitive. He developed a workable and affordable solution. We also didn’t want a boring, flat grassy yard. Tim built mounds, kind of like Indian burial grounds. Very organic. They’re not massive, but they add interest and the kids have fun playing King of the Mountain. Everyone comments on the backyard and asks about the mounds. We already love the yard, but we know we’re going to love it even more when it’s all complete.

There’s one word to express why people should choose Tim. The word is overused, but it’s true. Passion. He has never not loved what he does. He never tires of it. Tim is an artist. Landscape architecture is his medium.
- Richard Slayton, RLA, ASLA, EDAC, Senior Landscape Architect/Land Planner, ERDMAN, Madison, WI
Tim doesn’t set a vision and then walk away. He stays close to all the work. He doesn’t act like a senior partner and hand off the work. He’s involved in the installation and checks the build-out. In some cases, he acts as an owner’s representative. With Tim you get an experienced person who’s highly creative that’s going to be part of the project all the way to the end.
