Garland Alliance with nation wide work provides an unparalleled approach to the creative design process that aligns our Alliance to our clients comprehensive needs, budget and style. We provide our clients with broad planning and detailed design services ranging from conceptual sketches to construction drawings and specicifications— necessary for bidding, construction management-to maintain the integrity of the client's vision, and long-term stewardships services. These will be general guidelines to hands on activities by our Alliance members. We do this to insure your investment brings long-term return to your property and your commitment to the environment. We always consider LEED guidelines when appropriate.

Garland Alliance provides an extensive level of options for the Playground experience of children ranging from pre-school to middle school, as well as children with challenges.
Our goal is to develop your child’s love of the natural world, your child’s ability to work independently and cooperatively, and general physical large and small motor skill development.
Our experience has ranged from artificial built environments in a tough urban area to a very native natural built environment at a nationally recognized nature center. Our designs evolve out of the children’s needs first, and connect them to the school needs and the needs of the site. The result is a unique expression of design and utilitarian function. We will work anywhere in the United States and beyond.

Subdivisons Projects
Subdivisons Projects
Garland Alliance provides expressive solutions to subdivision development from simple elegant entry piers with understated timeless plantings to fully planned, designed and engineered neighborhoods. We provide a natural extension of what already exists into the designed environment-an evolution of the area’s existing development into the built environment. We approach the process from a holistic and sustainable view, from tree preservation to siting each home for maximum views and solar gain. In addition shade is considered as well as the homes relation to other homes and the site’s natural features.
We take it one-step further and provide for habitat management, natural resource conservation, architectural harmony, and long sustainable management practices. LEED guidelines are a component of the process.

Urban Projects
Urban Projects
Garland Alliance provides an Innovative, utilitarian design approach to a wide scope of urban and municipal projects that are timeless in nature. We look to antiquity to be inspired, and create modern solutions for Roof top gardens, trail systems along urban rivers, to redevelopment of marginal areas of a city. We approach each solution with LEED guidelines, where possible, and provide a final product that enhances urban environmental qualities of development, daylight/solar resource management, transit systems, green infrastructure, outdoor environmental comfort, way finding, storm water use, heat island mitigation, and sustainability adding to quality of life in an urban setting. We have worked in the Milwaukee metropolitan area as well as Chicago, Miami and beyond.
